About Us

The BuddhaBabes

Tracy Campoli and Jennifer Farthing (The BuddhaBabes) are interested in making fitness and wellness accessible to everyone, no matter what their fitness level. Their goal is to create manageable routines that can be modified as needed and done almost anywhere there's room for a mat and time for a laugh!

Philosophy
Our focus is on results, but not at the expense of FUN. Working out doesn't have to be a drag—we've added playful names to the moves and sequences, we teach tweaks and tips for getting more out of every minute on the mat. We encourage questions, and laughing is mandatory—nothing works the abs better! Though we do get in a sizable amount of Pilates and yoga methodology and mindful breathing, our intention is to leave out the spiritual, in words anyway. Our classes appeal to the dedicated gym-goer and blossoming yogi alike. We've found that the transition from gym to studio can be awkward for those who feel intimidated by a perception that they can't add yoga into their practice without the philosophy, chanting, and Sanskrit attached to many studios. Our aim is to introduce the benefits of yoga asana within a context they are comfortable with, Pilates, abdominal and core classes. To the yogis, we show that yoga and Pilates are not mutually exclusive, and we work with alignment that makes sense for all—no matter which practice is more familiar.
